Four Seasons with A Book a Day

Luba Haleva (Bulgaria)

Using ABaD’s new logo as inspiration, Luba created a vibrant collection of artwork featuring a variety of avian friends, each representing a season of A Book a Day’s year-round literacy and art programs.

Superheroic Delight Song

Josh Cochran (USA)

With these playful, powerful stickers, artist Josh Cochran commemorated our 2021 Superheroic Delight Song mural project, a collaborative effort between Lea Elementary students, author Matthew Burgess, and artist Josh Cochran.

Books For Smiles/Libros para sonrisas

Damyan Damyanov (Bulgaria)

Our partnership with Puentes de Salud began in 2021 and has grown to include regular book distributions, a permanent, on-site library, and support for a culinary literacy program. Toothsome stickers and Spanish/bilingual books make dental visits much sweeter.

The Art of Reading

Afronite Stoic (Ghana)

Stoic’s sticker collection playfully celebrates the varied ways that we interact with literacy and how it leads to a brighter, more colorful world. The joy of reading and learning infuses Stoic’s stickers…and ABaD’s work!

Little Book of Onigiri

Eri Mizukane (USA/Japan)

Eri’s stickers provide a glimpse into our upcoming project that encourages exploration across multiple cultures: The Little Onigiri Book! We hope to bring this innovative graphic novel/cookbook and its lessons on Japanese culture to students throughout Philadelphia and beyond in 2024!

A Book a Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
