School is a great place. You can learn a lot, grow up, and do many things that you only dream of right now.
But be aware: grown-ups sometimes unlearn things they knew quite well as children.
For instance:
They forget to look up at the sky, and stare at the clouds. So they cannot notice the candy-floss cloud turn into a bunny head cloud and eat the cake shape cloud.
They forget to look down and notice the crack in the pavement. What is it? A big tree? Or a cobweb? Or a secret passage to the underground world?
They don’t play on the playground anymore. They think that would be awkward.
They don’t dare to run and jump on the street, just because they are in a good mood.
They cannot go quickly from crying to laughing, when there is no more reason to cry. They are afraid they will not be taken seriously anymore.
They forget to ask many questions, rather accept things as they are.
They cannot make friends easily. And when they fight with their existing ones, they have difficulty to forgive or ask for forgiveness.
These and many more, children know better, than adults. So while you are learning new adult things, don’t forget about the old child things! They will make you a better and happier person.

Az iskola egy remek hely, ahol nagyon sok mindent lehet tanulni. Ha kijárod az iskolát, felnőttként majd sok mindent csinálhatsz, amiről most csak álmodozol.
De elárulok egy titkot: a felnőttek gyakran elfelejtenek olyasmit, amit gyerekként még egészen jól tudtak.
Például:
Elfelejtenek felnézni az égre, és megbámulni a felhőket. Ezért nem láthatják, amint a vattacukor felhő nyuszifejjé alakul, és bekapja a süti felhőt.
Elfelejtenek lenézni a földre, és megfigyelni a járdán a repedéseket. Mi az?
Egy terebélyes fa? Vagy inkább egy pókháló? Vagy egy titkos átjáról a földalatti világba?
Nem játszanak többet a játszótéren. Az gondolják, hogy az igencsak furcsa lenne.
Nem mernek csak úgy rohangálni és ugrálni, mert éppen jókedvük van.
Nem tudnak a sírásból gyorsan nevetésre váltani, amikor már nincsen okuk a sírásra. Attól félnek, hogy akkor a többi felnőtt nem venné őket komolyan.
Elfelejtenek sokat kérdezni. Inkább elfogadják a dolgokat úgy, ahogy vannak.
Nem tudnak könnyen barátkozni. És amikor összevesznek a barátaikkal, nehezükre esik megbocsátani, vagy bocsánatot kérni.
Ezt és még sok minden egyebet a gyerekek jobban tudnak, mint a felnőttek. Ezért, miközben új, felnőtt dolgokat tanulsz, ne feledkezz meg a gyerek dolgokról sem. Ezek jobb és boldogabb emberré fognak tenni.

Scoala este un loc minunat. Poți învăța multe lucruri noi, și când devii adult, poți face lucruri la care acum doar visezi.
Dar îți spun un secret: adulții deseori uit lucruri importante, pe care le-au știut când erau copii.
De exemplu:
Ei uită să-și ridice capul, și să se uite la nori. Așadar n-au cum să vadă când norul vată de zahăr se transformă în cap de iepuraș și hamm! Mânăncă norul prăjitură.
Ei uită să-și lase capul jos, și să se uite atent la crăpătura din trotuar. Oare ce este? Un copac imens? Sau o pânză de păianjen? Ori un pasaj secret către lumea subterană?
Ei nu mai joacă la locul de joacă. Cred că acesta ar fi foarte ciudat. Si nu mai au curajul să aleargă si să sare, numai pentru că sunt fericiți.
Ei nu se pot opri din plâns, și să se apuce imediat de râs, când nu mai au motiv de plângere. Le e teamă că ceilalți adulți nu le vor mai lua în serios.
Ei uită să pune multe întrebări, mai degrabă acceptă lucrurile așa cum sunt.
Ei nu pot să se împrietenească ușor. Si când se ceartă cu prietenii lor, le este greu să iartă sau să ceară iertare.
Copii știu aceste lucruri, și multe altele, mai bine decăt cei mari. Așadar când înveți lucruri noi ale adulților, ai grijă, să nu le uiți nici cele ale copiilor. Acestea te vor face un om mai bun și mai fericit.
