Дім — це ти
Ти так любила будувати халабуди, облаштовувати в них безпеку й комфорт. Любила свій дім. Уявляла: якщо станеться щось страшне у світі — ти просто візьмеш і перенесеш свій будинок у безпечне місце. Ти дуже прив’язалася до нього, до місця, де народилася і виросла.
Ти ніколи не могла уявити, що можливо жити не у своєму домі з дитинства, а десь на чужині. Але життя буває непередбачуваним…
Іноді стається щось таке, що змушує людей залишати свій дім.. Небезпека підштовхує людей переїжджати до безпечніших місць. І, на жаль, ти не можеш перенести свій будинок із собою.
Але пам’ятай: ти завжди можеш бути зі своїм домом. Бо дім — це ти. Це твої спогади, теплі історії, запах затишку, атмосфера, люди, які були з тобою. Усе це завжди буде в твоєму серці й грітиме тебе, коли стане сумно на чужині.
Дім — це щось набагато глибше й емоційніше, ніж просто будівля. І де б ти не була, ти зможеш створити новий дім — з новими історіями, новою атмосферою, новими спогадами.
Ти — як кульбабка. Навіть якщо тебе занесе далеко, ти знайдеш у собі силу прорости й побудувати щось тепле й своє. Ти обов’язково повернешся туди, куди захочеш.

Home is you
You loved building blanket forts, making them feel safe and cozy. Loved your home.
You thought, if anything terrible ever happened in the world, you’d just pick up your house and take it with you to someplace safe. You were so deeply attached to it, to the home where you were born and grew up.
You could never have imagined living anywhere else other than your childhood home — but now you live far away in a foreign land. Life can be unpredictable…
Sometimes, people are forced to leave their homes. Often, danger forces them to move to safety — and, sadly, you can’t take your house with you.
But remember: your home is not the house — it’s you. It’s your memories, familiar stories, comforting scents, a sense of belonging, and your loved ones. All of this lives in your heart, keeping you warm when you feel lonely in an unfamiliar place.
Home is not just a building — it’s so much deeper and more emotional. And wherever you are, you can create a new home with new stories, new memories — a new place where you belong.
You are like a dandelion. Even if wind carries you far away, you’ll find the strength within yourself to take root and build a cozy and comforting home of your own. And then you will always be able to visit the homes, both new and old, that live in your heart.
Yuliia is a Ukrainian illustrator, graphic designer, and photographer from Lviv. She loves going on adventures with her characters and creating gentle, illustrated worlds. She believes every child carries a small ray of light within, and it is up to us to help that ray grow into the sun.
